What is Travertine?
Travertine is a natural stone that has been in use since ancient times, with Romans doing most of their construction work with it. The Romans used travertine to construct their aqueducts.
What is marble?
When limestone becomes subject to heat and pressure, it produces a rock that contains minerals like calcite, micas, quartz, clay minerals, pyrites, and graphite. This rock that is formed during limestone metamorphosis is a marble.
