What Is the Right Procedure to install the Real Natural Stone Marble Tiles?

The steps involved in the procedure to install the real natural stone marble tiles are pretty straightforward. 

1. Level the floor

Preparation is the most important key to make any DIY project a success. The surface on which you are going to lay the tiles should be even, dry, and clean. So, make sure to level the surface. 

2. Reference lines

The next step you need to follow is to mark out the positions of the tiles correctly and patiently. It is important to work out the best position; adjust the layout in such a way that you can use as many whole tiles as possible. 

3. Spread and mix the mortar evenly

Take approx. one meter of mortar and spread it evenly into one of the corners. In order to ensure that the grouting is even, you need to press the tiles into place carefully and gently. After that, make use of plastic spacers and add them to each corner. 

4. Lay down the tiles

Cut the tiles to shape using a tile cutter; don't forget to leave the space for grouting. You should be wearing gloves and safety goggles while cutting the tiles. Now, start laying the tiles from one side of the room to the other. 

By making use of a wet saw, cut the tiles and remove the excess mortar. Before proceeding with grouting, make sure to apply a high-quality marble sealing agent. Once the sealer dries, you are ready to proceed with the grouting process. At last, you need to wipe down the marble tiles and paint the grout using a grout sealer.
